Today i would like to share about my dry chapped lips experience and my remedy to it. I have tried cheapo off the rack lip balms from guardian and watsons. I'm not saying they are not good, but they were less effective on my bad condition lips. Have you ever suffer a painful smile from a dried lips? I think most girls do, with our hot and humid climate and and less fluid consumption, you are prone to experience this.

Forget about your wedding dress, make ups and favors for a while and zoom in into your lips. Perfect makeup, perfect hair wouldn't do much justice without a great smile. Would it be a turn off to see that dry, chapped lips even if you apply your matching color lipstick and shiny lip gloss? Yes it is!

One day, Mr Fiance brought me this. It works like magic! It gives my dried lips comfort with its mosturising aloe ingredient. Apply it overnight, and your lips will be softer and moister the next morning. Well, it works on mine and no harm in trying girls!

Husband-less.

Its Day 4 of becoming a wife. Oh sudah isterikah aku? I know i owe 100s of updates on preparations and the wedding itself. Life has been super duper busy and i hate it when i have to fight with time to give live updates.. hope its not basi yet.. inai still merah di jari.. I will slowly make an effort to list down each and every details of it.. the wedding story takes a lot to write..

Its 3 days before my kenduri bertandang. I finally manage to breathe, sit back and stretch my legs and let his side bertungkus lumus pulak. And now I'm husbandless as he is in Ipoh to help his family's preparation. Mr hubby... i miss you dearly.. the bed seems empty withou you by my side... emo la pulak....

My other VIP favor..

I personally think, the idea of a wedding favor is for someone to keep and remember or better still functional instead of just sitting in an antique drawer. So i avoid buying kotak to put my favors that people will eventually throw. So, i thought of giving this as one of my VIP favors to be put inside my white paperbag. A memopad! They can put it beside telephone, on a desk in their office or simply in a car. How many times you wish you had a piece of paper to jot down important numbers or notes?? Sister did not quite agree with it as she says it looks like a corporate gift, but i made a point to her that i want to give something that my guests can use and keep..

I designed it with a simple layout with our name and wedding date on it. This special gift is from the heart and its specially made in Bandung :)

I chose a soft light blue to match with my other favor and my sticker..

Doorgift untuk VIP dah jadi macam kemestian.. untuk family terdekat, bffs, untuk guests yang bagi hadiah best (hahah bias!), dan juga untuk orang yang bekerja keras untuk wedding kita.. so, i decided to have around 100 pieces of VIP gifts.. cukup la kot? lagi pun budget pun takdela besar sangat, my relative suggested an apam polka-dot pack in a cute packaging as one of the items to be put inside my white paperbag yang ditaruk sticker.. my paperbag VIP dah jadi macam goodie bag sebab ada macam-macam! It consists of my idea, my sis and my niece. so untuk tidak mengecewakan idea mereka i decided to put them all. wait for my next post to see more items inside my goodiebag! comel jugak idea ni.. memang geram tgk apam-apam ni after di packing. Tapi.. practical ke?

To me this is not so practical because apam's lifetime is very short. Around 4-5 days max. Apam ni cepat berkulat.. yela species species roti gak la.. so, if you want apam polka-dot as your gift, consider this.. unless you are sure your guests will eat it on the spot.. nasib baik kitorang order untuk 100 sets je.. sbb nak packing within one night tu agak mencabar.. nak packing awal2 memang tak boleh la.. tapi apam apam ini tersangatla cute.. grey-light blue is our theme so we decided to have this combo on our apams...

Sticker Doorgift

Siapa kata sticker murah? tapi tak dinafikan with a personalized sticker on your VIP gifts will give an exclusive look to it. So i decided to have it anyway, just in a cheaper way.. DIY. What you need? Color printer of course, sticker paper (A4 size), cutting mat + blade + ruler and a pinch of creativity. Tapi yang takde printer tu boleh la minta kawan2 yang ada kedai printing sponsor printing.. or hantar print kat kedai print. Shouldn't be that expensive.

Print siap-siap in an A4 sticker paper supaya ngam ngam 6 pieces (depending on your size of doorgift boxes).. Fit as much layout as possible for more economical.. tapi ukur dulu size kotak doorgift ye. bila dah siap print, tekan pembaris dan lalukan blade atas kertas dengan perlahan (jangan sampai potongan tu putus supaya senang nak remove and tampal)..


Kemudian tampalkan atas doorgift anda... dan suruh kucing anda posing di sebelahnya. siap!

debaran baju bersanding

hello all... gosh i dont know where to start! there are so many backdated posts i need to blog. My life was upside down.. preparation kawin yang memenuhkan schedule harian.. sampai nak kencing pun berkira....

i have put so much effort on my baju sanding.. not because its done by rizalman.. no i can't afford rizalman.. but simply because i have crossed the land to find the material just to get the color and material i want.. yes, i designed my own baju but the hardest part is to fit between my shoestring budget. I don't want to sewa baju just for the fact as its not cheap anyways, and i want to treasure my wedding dress for my kids to see and to see how small i was when i was married :)

I made this baju in bangi.. in a small bridal boutique.. banyak kali juga pegi fitting and kemaskan here and there... mula-mula try memang tak seperti yang diingini.. but nasib baik tukang jahit tu sabar and lepas bincang finlly baju siap a week before majlis. Panic juga sebab hantar baju since bulan May lagi tapi biasala.. mana ada butik pengantin siapkan baju terlalu awal... lagipun size badan berubah lepas puasa.. All in all, lepas sleepless nights memikirkan baju sanding.. alhamdulillah siap and frankly i love how it turned out.. and i love how it flows on my body... so far i'm a happy customer walaupun design ada sedikit perubahan from the initial sketch.

macamana powder blue tu? dia seakan akan greyish blue... macam berabuk sikit... memang agak mencabar nak pilih material for this color... bila letak lining shade lain skit color dah berubah.. i'm not sure if this is really powder blue... but my eyes love it ;)

Henna Artist

its a month plus to go.. and still banyak lagi benda tak settle.. blog pun sudah bersawang.. buat masa ni tanak peningkan kepala.. semalam adalah hari henna artist hunting... cari punya carik yang murah tak jumpa.. ingatkan nak yang bawah rm100 + transportation. tapi harapan agak tipis. Yang walk in banyak murah esp kat brickfields.. tapi takkan nak jalan kengkang barefooted balik rumah kan...

sempatla dapat quotation dari dayu design the iranian gurl tu.. tapi mak aih.. tak tau pulak harga berinai ni boleh cecah RM350 - RM400. idakle cek nak spend cenggitu for henna.. tapi undeniable memang lawa dia buat.. so browse punye browse jumpa this henna artist from sungai buloh. Harga sangat reasonable.. and tgk portfolio dia pun cantik and kemas.. tapi tak tau la final resultnya.. Tapi disebabkan lokasi dia jauh, transportationnya agak mahal dia charge.. after nego punya nego, dia bagi discount sikit..

so after satu malam pikir.. i decided to hire her. Malas nak pening kepala dah.. banyak benda nak pikir... ini hasil kerja tangan dia.. not bad kan? i like this design.. simple and nampak lembut and berhalus orang klate kata...

Diamond Ring?

Remember this post on how emo i was rambling about Mr Fiance's firm decision about surprising me the wedding ring? Oh yeah, he decided to get it himself without my jurisdiction. Konon nya nak bagi seikhlas hati luhur dari hati dan itu pemberian ikhlas dari sang suami kepada isteri tercinta. Ok, mak mengamuk mula mula ok! Dan dia telah memberi khutbah dan hujah2 pasal kenapa nak terpengaruh dengan the technicality of the ring. Does it matter if the ring ada cert atau tak etc etc etc... Rasa nak nangis masa tu ok.. Tapi setelah berzikir dan berdoa, maka mak mengalah.

Apa salahnya biarkan dia rasa bangga bila tgk cincin pemberian ikhlas di jari manis sang isteri kan? (ayat psycho diri) So i decided to close the chapter and go on my life macam biasa until my nikah day. Hahah, yes he decided to surprise me on my nikah day. Ok, maka saya pun bertawakal kepada yang maha esa moga cincin tu menepati cita rasa.. 4c, o.4carat, D/E color, GIA cert or better stil HOF. (ish tak sedar sedar diri jugakkan? gurau je) heheh..

3 bulan telah berlalu, maka hari ini (walaupun saya belum lagi bernikah hari ini) tetapi Mr Fiance sudah memberi teaser.. Kotak biru menjadi bukti. Dan ia adalah...

i just got back from my 2nd trip to jakarta. this time is to collect all my doorgifts, kad kawin, doorgift VIP, dan acara susulan menyelam sambil minum air is buat langsir, and custom made my bedding sheets and cover! Di samping membeli corset dan barangan lain utk dijual....

saya terlalu penat untuk blog hari ini.. tunggu post seterusnya bila otot-otot tangan dan otak kembali berfungsi secara normal...

perihal bunga pahar.. DIY.

Mak aih.. mahalnya bunga pahar dip. one pair can reach RM10-RM15. So dengan semangat yang jitu i told myself.. why not DIY? rasa special sikit.. So, bermula lah upacara menggoogle "bagaimana hendak buat bunga dip". Browse punya browse, from one youtube to another disertai dengan maki serapah sebab internet connection yang selow. I bumped into one site yang tunjuk a nice tutorial.

After melihat semangat yang hampir menurun melonjak kembali.. so, bermula lah sesi mencari bahan mentah.. tak taulah apa hasilnya.. tapi kalau tgk pun rumit.. buat berganda-ganda lagi rumit. Sekarang baru saya faham kenapa harga bunga dip mahal. Nanti kalau menjadi i will share my own version of how-tos.

Perihal DIY Kotak Favor

DIY stuffs never fail to amaze me.. especially when it looks very profesional but with the use of recycled items.

So, dengan semangat membara i went to the nearest stationary shop. Carik kertas yang sesuai dengan tema warna dan urusan menggoogle bermula. Ada banyak site yang tunjuk step by step untuk buat kotak.. Di dapur ada doily paper yang dah berabuk tak guna. Rasanya 3 tahun lepas punya beli untuk alas biskut raya.

Jadi setelah mengukur dan tertonggeng-tonggeng seharian.. inilah hasilnya :

tiba-tiba teringat kata-kata nyonya kat kedai kertas tu:

"Wah, lu mau bikin itu kotak sendiri? Mau bikin 1000 lu nangis wo!"

Nampaknya terpaksa kuburkan niat nak buat kotak DIY utk doorgift. Sebab buat satu pun terkial2 nak gunting kertas yang tebal tuh. Sampai terpeleot jari.

"Kalau 100 pun wa nangis wo aunty!"

Perihal DIY Kad Kahwin

Bila nak kawin ni macam macam idea dalam kepala.. pastu mula lah nak gabra sorang sorang. I decided to design my own card. Nothing fancy, nothing extravaganza.. tapi ngada tak kalau nak DIY renda renda and manik ala swarovsky bagai. Ye, kad kawin saya bercita cita tinggi. Tapi akan cuba dilaksanakan dengan harga tak lebih RM2. Thats my ceiling. So, renda dah beli during my trip to Jakarta. Lace kan murah.. and manik pernik juga sudah dibeli di jakarta..

cost untuk 400pc of card:
Semi hardcover with 2 colored inserts for walimatul and map, embossed hot foil from De Karda quoted me RM1.70/each
Lace 1 roll RP30.000 x 3 = Rp90.000 (RM31)
Manik pernik ala swarovsky 1pc Rp400 x 400 biji = Rp160.000 (RM56)
Total utk manik+lace untuk satu kad = RM0.20

so 1 kad RM1.70 + RM0.20 = RM1.90. and i get lace and bead for my card!

wuhuuu... berbaloi kan? kalau kat sini nak request lace and manik gerenti vendor quote kaw kaw.

Urusan drafting baru finalize tadi dengan De Karda, now I can't wait for my card.. lepas tu urusan DIY lace and manik..

Perihal Kad Kahwin and such!

My Jakarta trip wasn't that successful.. Yeah i am happy with my kain kain hunting. I got what i want.. (will write more on my kain hunting trip to jakarta in a next post.. too long but interesting) but there is still long list of things weren't accomplished. To name few is my wedding card.

Kononnya nak pegi Pasar Tebet, Jakarta and hunt for wedding card. Orang kata kat situ memang pusat kad kawin. Syorga! But i didn't manage to go.. Y? because masa tak cukup y'all! sedihnya.. Lokasi Pasar Tebet ni ialah di Jakarta Selatan. Waktu operasi 9.30-6ptg. Tapi its kinda hassle kalau nak pergi trip to jakarta 2 kali untuk order and untuk collect. So the other option to do to save cost is to do it online. Zaman skarang bercinta pun bleh pakai online.. khidmat sex pun orang boleh pakai online. so setakat nak buat kad kawin.. online pun boleh maa.. Lepas tu minta diorang post to Malaysia. A friend of mine was charged RM500 for a 1500pc of hardcover cards for postage. Tu baru card, if you all ada doorgifts, bakul, ceramic, bla bla.. harga postage lain ok. So if you think buying things in Jakarta is cheap. Yes, its comparatively cheap. but do consider postage.. bukan murah tau. Kira2 balik mungkin sama aje total cost kalau beli kat Malaysia negaraku tercinta.

Cintake? Guess what?? I still buy all my stuffs in Jakarta! hahah.. poyo aje kan.. i will tell you why and how.. Since my first trip wasn't really fruitful.. but i managed to get contacts just in case there is a second trip ke.. So, after calculation on shipping cost for all items yang i plan nak beli kat jakarta.. i decided to make a come back and collect all my ordered stuff by myself.. Ticket cuma RM350 inclusive return ticket + tax + maximum baggage and roastchick + kopi. (roastchick air asia sedap ok). Not bad huh? And i get to bring all my stuffs including kad kawin and doorgifts sendiri.. suruh diorang post to hotel je. Orang di Jakarta ni memang business minded and very very competetive. They are willing to go extra miles for you. Tapi kita as pengguna kena bijak.. jgn sampai terpijak. And dah alang2 sampai jakarta tu belila barang2 lain such as corset.. accessories.. barang2 yang i plan nak meniaga such as jubah or kaftans.. (will upload hasil hasilnya nanti.. boleh you all beli untuk Raya). Kira ok la kan trip tu..

Hahaha.. i ni selalu meleret citer pasal benda lain. This post is supposed to be about my wedding card. Ok, back to the main topic, i made my card with De Karda. Had good reviews from my niece and sedara mara. They did their card with them. I need someone who speaks good language (understandable indonesian language or better still english), cekap beronline and efficient. Maklumla.. online. I have googled a lot, asked for quotations and such.. but only some manage to respond promptly. Biasala.. brides kan cerewet, nak cepat and nak dilayan seperti permaisuri.. betul tak? Tapi budget ciput. ngada ok. I also managed to compare price locally and dari seberang. Memang ternyata.. design dari Indonesia memang lagi creative and hebat-hebat y'all!

I designed my own card. I am a very imaginative person. Sume nak buat sendiri kalau boleh.. siap renda renda and manik ala swarovsky bagai! ngada ok. baju kawin pun i design sendiri (will come to that later). So i managed to compare price kad kawin di Jalan Pudu and di Jakarta. Di Jalan Pudu ada satu kedai Melayu ni (diorang boleh buat custom box yang lawa-lawa juga). For a simple hardcover card that i designed price at Jalan Pudu RM3.50. (not bad.. he claimed his price is the cheapest compared to others). Nama kedai Firma Kreatif. Nak tau berapa Jakarta vendor, De Karda quote i? USD0.60. (around RM1.70) So its always be half the price in Indonesia, plus you get creative designs!

I am not saying you should get your card in Indonesia.. but if you plan a trip make it worth while. Borong terus benda benda lain such as doorgifts, kotak favors, kain, langsir ke.. hahha.. study and buat checklist before planning your trip. Kalau nak lagi bagus, google dulu list of vendors yang you all nak visit.. contact them via email first, so your trip will be more cost effective.

April Fool???!!

I don't remember the last time i had April fooled. 10 years ago? (eh, this makes me sound so old la pulak).. April fools are lame and meant for kids. But did I just had one today? Mr Fiance is full with surprises these days.. I had enough headaches with my clients today and i don't think i'm ready for another annoying behaviour ..

I was chatting with Mr Fiance today regarding hantaran & wedding bands until he blurbs :

him : " I think let me buy the wedding ring for you"
me : "of course la you belikan.. what do you mean?? what? you want to get my ring WITHOUT me?"
him : "yes. isn't barang hantaran and cincin is a gift from a guy to the girl? if its a gift then let me buy for you la.. "

ini bukan zaman 80an ok!!!!!!

me : "is this because you takut i pilih cincin mahal and you takut you tak mampu nak bayar?"
him : "partly yes, and i akan beli ikut kemampuan i"

rasa jantung stop 6 saat. piano hari tu pun tak angkat lagi dari kepala ni .. now another broken piano???

me : *silent* (dlm hati : memang la aku nak cincin GIA cert bagai tapi i know the limit la.. if he can't afford it i can totally compromise .. worst comes to worst i can topup skit ke if i still want my dream ring. Takdela aku nak beli 1 carat ring.. but his clearcut decision makes me feel rasa nak campak diri dlm gaung)

him : trust me dear, i will find the best ring i could give. Itu betul betul hadiah from me to you.. biar i pilih, biar i beli, then its up to you nak terima my gift to you or not.

me : *silent* (dalam hati: gotcha!!! so betul la nak beli cincin senyap2 without me sbb nak beli off the rack cheapo ring but nampak macam 2 carat ring!!!!!!!! kalau beli sama2 gerenti kantoi.)

syaitan dah merasuk dalam jiwa. i know the bad person in me has spoken and mengapi2 kan situation. Luckily there is still the angel in me calming me to keep my mouth shut and just let him speak and berhujah about the concept of marriage. Dalam hati meletup2 nih..

i know another word coming from my mouth is going to cause tsunami. so i decided to take a break to pray, zikir and sleep.

me : "i need rest. i nak tido."
him : "i know this kind of conversation makes you down.. but.."

i put my iphone into flight mode. i need a break. Deep down i know that is definitely NOT his intention. being a traditional guy he values the concept of marriage but i'm being an emo and knowing that i have to keep thinking and wondering how my ring is going to look like until my akad day is KILLING me! 5 months to go :( this definitely bring the bridezilla out of me..

Ya Allah, berikan aku ketenangan and jauhkan aku dari perasaan tamak.

Among the thing that you have to consider early, is the caterer. The caterer creates history. be it bad or good. Hopefully its a good one. Kalau event gempak tapi food sucks people will talk about it. Same goes vice versa.

I hired Manisa Catering for my engagement day. It was a small do with 120pax catered. I remember close to 120 good reviews about the food. Its very satisfying to see the guests enjoy the food at your event. "Food sedap giler" is among good reviews i received from the guest..

So why not hire the same caterer this time?

I went to see the owner for the first time. We only spoke on the phone previously as it was only small event back then, but this time mom and i went to see the owner in person and hopefully i will be able to ask for a good quotation. She's an experience lady and easy to deal with. She entertained every big deal questions i ask. The price she's offering is not bad at all.. not cheap but not that expensive. It still falls within mom's budget if we exclude the pelamin. Another dilemma, nak amik pelamin terus dgn dia or nak carik different decorator for pelamin? If i take different pelamin designer wouldn't it be expensive too? Nevermind, i still have time to include/exclude the items.. Yang penting place booking dulu sbb Syawal is gonna be one busy month for caterers!!

Why i should hire Manisa Catering :

1) Their quality of the food is their reputation. Trust me, Sedap!
2) According to the owner they use "Spencer Royal" dishware.. instead of pinggan melamine (that means she puts every small details into account)
3) They use fresh flowers for arches and pelamins (if i take one)
4) Diorang buat kerja ikhlas and bukan nak pikir untung aje.. They will advice you to take adequate amount of pax and not to waste the food by over catering number of pax.
5) They standby food JUST IN CASE food tak cukup and they will acknowledge the client with the additional charges later..
6) They are based in subang so its a brownie point for me!
7) They have been in this field for years and dia tak pressure i untuk hire them.

I couldn't find any reason not to settle with this caterer unless ada org nak sponsor me with anything better than this. But i guess the word better comes with a bigger price.. so i placed the deposit today.

oh by the way, if anyone know any pelamin designer yang affordable but creative pls lemme know. Don't recommend arma because i just heart them but couldn't afford it. I remember asking them and the pelamin i love starts from 4k!

b2b and bff day out!

Hanging out with the girls (my bffs) is always been a highlight of my plans. Thats when everyone made excuse to leave their daily chores and boring routine. Thats when i leave my piled of works and thats when they leave their hubs and kids behind to gather and talk like single ladies! Since I am the only one among them who is still single, i have to follow the majority and listen to topics that evolves around susu anak, cute baby's tees, stroller, breastfeeding and conflict in marriages. I'm not complaining.. as i know my time of enjoying and participating in these topic will come very soon.

But this time, I am grateful to be surrounded with friends whose so looking forward to my big day.. Today, its about me and my preparation to becoming a bride :)


We brainstormed about dresses, color and ...bridesmaid theme. As i am limiting myself in every single thing about my wedding and trying to keep everything as simple as possible, having a themed bridesmaid was not at the back of my head earlier.. but why not?? Isn't it cute to have a bunch of inangs by your side with a themed color?? The theme color is silverish grey (not my dress, but family and bridesmaids) Anyways, who can say no to anything that won't splurge your budget but adding more excitement???

After lunch at Bangsar Village, we headed to Gulati's to get our adrenaline rushed and get some ideas.. Sangat best ok treat Gulatis like your own playground! Ok, atleast this gets me going.. my wedding engine asyik sangkut je. Thank you girls! I love you all.. You make my day!

satu hari dalam dilemma.

After Mr Fiance's shocking news about the change of date, i know the first thing to do is to contact my MUA and photographer and let them know about it.

Good news my MUA is still available on the revised date! That saves me a hassle of MUA hunting. But unfortunately my photog already have a VIP wedding job on the new date. Takkan nak suruh dia cancel job tu. I heard the Agung is the main guest. So? He will send his assistant instead or i'm free to find other photogs.. Well i don't blame him but my future father in law! (sorry Mr Fiance.. marah tak hilang lagi) Takpela.. kenduri bertandang je.. the main highlight is my akad and MY reception.. photog kebanyakkan pun takpe, kan? kan? (effort untuk memujuk diri sendiri). Ke nak ambik je photog ipoh-based yang berbakat tapi tak mahal. The only one i know ipoh-based which is not-so-murah but good is Jangguttouch and memang lari budgetku ok!

This left me with another dilemma.

I was disturbed with 2 shocking news yesterday.

Number one : a friend of mine whom i attended her wedding 3 years ago passed away yesterday morning. Even though i was not too close to her when we were in school but i can't face the fact that her soul left her body yesterday. She was known as a very positive person, generous with smile.. very beautiful and confident. I can freshly remember the last time we spoke about the best nasi lemak in subang jaya.. i was craving for nasi lemak and hunting for a non commercial ones but tastes really good that it takes someone who has been a resident of subang jaya for more than 10 years to spot one. she introduced me to one stall in usj by the road and i went! to Zorzini Roslan, i will remember the stall always and your passing has left a scar to many people who loves you.

She was diagnosed with heart failure after a heart infection and soon the bacteria got penetrated her brain after a pro-long fever. It happened so fast and she was in coma for a week before her blood pressure dropped to 26 while her resting pulse rose up to 120 during coma. As a fighter herself, she was fighting with a life threatening situation but GOD loves her more and took her away.. May you rest in peace my friend. Semoga rohmu bersama orang orang beriman dan dicucuri rahmat.

A shocking news number two : Mr Fiance called me..

Mr Fiance : "Dear, i have a good news or a bad news for you"

erm i don't need another bad news now, and i have not told him about my friend's passing.

Mr Fiance : "My dad called me and he wants to change our kenduri tandang date to xx/xx/2011"

It maaaaybe a good news also since there will be no more 2 months gap between my nikah+ reception and his kenduri. The tandang kenduri will be a week after mine.. BUT, its a BIG BIG BUT there.. somehow i feel a big heavy piano just fell on my head. It is definitely a bad news also. My photog.. and my MUA. i was speechless for a mo i can here crickets.

Me : "Habis, photographer, my makeup artist macamana?? i dah bayar deposit.."

Mr Fiance : "Try and call them and ask if they can make it for the new date"

Ish senangnya dia cakap.. kalau tak available macamana???????? does he care if i simply take tangkap muat photog and MUA? kalau muka i macam clown macamana? does he care?? ish emo betul i. Kalau you all mesti emo jugakkan?? biar i layan emo dulu..

hp off konon merajuk.. padahal main angry bird sampai midnight. memang merajuk okkay!

i went for my kursus kahwin with Mr Fiance 2 weeks ago at Solaris, Mont Kiara. Google for Siarra & Dinderk. Mind this procrastinated post. Oh, he's such a darling to accompany me as this is his second time attending kursus kahwin since some time back.. The kursus that i went is in Solaris Mont Kiara. Tempat elite, i just wonder how elite the kursus gonna be. Perhaps guest of speakers from overseas? haha.

A day before the kursus kahwin i was looking for a new tudung to wear. Well, i guess you should wear proper attire to these kind of courses. Proper attire in my dictionary is a traditional dress and proper hijab to cover the aurat. Better be safe than humiliating myself later, am i right?

Day 1: we were 30 mins late! damn. Mr fiance got the wrong turn and he insisted to leave the house later than my plan. Marah juga dalam hati, but i try not to spill it out. Okkay, i try not to practice blaming culture.. it should start now. I did not say much but he managed to call the admin that we are gonna be slightly late. The admin was cool enough and ask us to just go in.

It was a small group, it was barely 20 people. The area was new and comfy. Men at one side and women at the other. But it caught me by surprise to see how laid back the participants were especially the ladies. Some in jeans.. and guess what? there were only 2 people (including myself) with a proper tudung. The rest just put on shawls with jambul exposing.. hahah funny. Well, i'm not here judging anyone but it was totally different from my expectation. I'm not sorry or regret with my attire but seriously feel its important to respect the speakers. And most of them are among ustaz from jabatan agama. I thought i was the only one who came late, but another couple came in extremely late. The watch clocks 3 quarter of the session. Kalau aku sure dah gelabah giler. Selamba aje minah ni masuk ngan jeans and selendang ala jambul tersembul. What? orang2 yang attend kursus kat sini mmg purposely choose this place sbb nak elak pakai tudung agaknya? heheh....

The first day was okay.. the topics are pretty interesting. Some of the speakers are good by sharing with us some live experience at Mahkamah Syarie. No one asked a single questions.. I was not at all an active participant be it during high school nor lecturers during my education years.. but here i think this is my chance to ask some doubts that i have in mind to be shared among others too. So, i did break the silence by asking the ustaz couple questions. Macam berani je.. hahah.. soalan berbunyi begini:

"Ustaz, jatuhkah talak jika sisuami mengucapkannya secara verbal tetapi di depan rakan bukan di depan si isteri". Biar betul aku tanya soalan tu.. heheh. but i really need this to be clarified. Ustaz recognized it was a very good question indeed. If you wonder what is the hukum. "Talaknya sah" jawap si ustaz.

Do you know that the divorce statistic last year occurs once every 15minutes. I was like.. what??!! Macam takut je kan? And according to ustaz again, tempoh critical dalam sebuah perkahwinan adalah dalam 5tahun pertama dan banyak kes cerai alaf baru terjadi dalam tahun ke-2. Kecut perut dengar ustaz ni. Takut nak kahwin pun ada. Anyway, kalau nak cerita pasal topic2 masa kursus kahwin ni mmg tak habis nak citer dalam post ni. You all pergi sendiri dengar sendiri lah ok? Bukan apa, atleast we know our rights sebagai isteri. Especially bila masuk kes penderaan mental dan fizikal. nauzubillah. Most tortured wives choose to remain silent and let their husband do whatever they want. How pitiful.

Day 2 : I made sure we reached there on time. We managed. Guess what?? The girl who wore proper tudung yesterday changed her theme today. No more tudung, selendang with a decorated jambul, a very tight legging and a cardie. hehhehe.. so i was the only girl with proper tudung. haih, macam-macam.

The second day's topic was pretty dry. And the nasi lemak provided buat mata ni rasa ngantuk. Saw few people tersengguk2.. I tried to fight the lethargy. The girl who sat beside me yesterday tak habis2 browsing ngan ipad dia and ber bbm. Khusyuknya. Sampai ustaz panggil pun tak sedar. To me, if you hate the kursus kahwin so much or you've been forced with a knife on your neck sekali pun, just bear 2 days and show some respect to the speakers..kan dah kena soal ngan ustaz.. well, atleast the guys are behaving well and giving full attentions to it. Ustaz tanya bukan nak test knowledge, cuma nak share pendapat and get opinions.. or maybe ustaz get distracted with that ipad..

The most awaited topic, which is the "procedure and documents for marriage" was kept to the last 2 speaker. And it was a very short one. 10 mins or less if i can remember. The last speaker with a topic "kesihatan" really test everyone's patience level and we were like in a siapa-tahan-mengantuk contest. tik tok tik tok.. lambatnya slide ni nak gerak. Kenapalah doktor ni citer lama sangat kat piramid makanan??? urkh. I saw Mr fiance's chin already touching his chest.. mata pejam baek punya. I tried ringing him dengan harapan mobile phone akan bergegar dalam kocek lantas mengejutkan dia from his dreamland. Tapi nyata sia-sia. Hampa. Tepat jam 7 malam. Alhamdulillah.. semua orang lega kursus berakhir.

balik.. ngantuk.. letih otak sbb so much info trying to squeeze in dalam otak yang semakin mengecil ni.

on the other hand, supplements and vitamin is important too. I start consuming collagen drink and bio-e vitamin daily countdown till the big day. Yang ni kena invest sikitla. There's a lot of collagen drink in the market. The cheapest i can get is the Cocoa Collagen power Plus (the shocking pink box). Been taking it for 2 months already. Testimonial says breast size can increase and firmer.. tapi nampak mcm samaaaa je... but skin condition ada improve sikit. so, i decided to continue drinking it. It tastes so good anyway.Price is RM45-RM48 for 1 month supply. Not bad.

On the other hand, basic skin care pun penting jugak! do not neglect facial.. you need something from the inside as well as from the outside too. Blackheads and whiteheads causing uneven makeup.. sbb pores clogged with impurities macamana nak apply foundation smoothly.. so, for a better makeup coverage.. pergilah ke salon salon kecantikan berdekatan anda and do some extractions ye puan puan.

I am going to have my painful session today.. bersedialah untuk berair mata dek beautician tu nanti ye. This i get it for a very good deal. I went mattafair last week.. tapi honeymoon package tak belipun! end up buying myself a facial voucher from a product by Dr Nano Labcel at beauty century. An RM28 voucher that includes skin analysis, facial extraction and a 20mins back massage. Not bad kan? Tu pun hutang! cheapskatenye aku.. ceritanya begini.. it was raining at pwtc, i only had RM10 in my pocket, ATM kena cross jalan so the beautician says i can pay RM10 and the remaining balance masa facial.. yahoo!! a bride needs to do what she needs to do! so, that was the story and i'm going for a facial today!

I still have 2 unused facial voucher and body massage for a very good deal from milkadeal and mydeal. be it you are a cheapskate or not, milkadeal and mydeal are a very good alternative for brides on a shoestring budget but still want to enjoy spa and facial before their big day. Makeup Artist - Part 5

I am so backdated with a lot of things! Oh how i wish i have more than 24hours a day. Masa sangat sangatla mencemburui aku (Even though i can not relate how they come up with this proverb in the first place!)

I love to be spoilt with choices.. but i don't like to keep myself too long without decision. So, i decided to settle with another makeup artist. Yes, i have 3 different MUAs for separate events.. I don't want to look alike for 3 different events, so a different touch from 3 different hands it is!

I decided to settle with Nazliman. He's been in the industry for 16 years but keeping himself low key. I see a lot of potential in him. I'm a big fan of orang2 yang humble tapi talented. Just like Yuna.

Ok, back to Nazliman, i hope i will not go wrong with Munie Ahmad's sifu. He is highly recommended by Munie, so i guess i am giving Cik Lee kita ni a chance. Everything was so easy with him. I called him out of the sudden and surprisingly enough i did not think twice or thrice pun. Terus book him and placed deposit. Sometimes we have to believe in our own instinct, am i right?

Regardless his years of experience, his rate is very very unbelievably reasonable. Tak percaya? Go and ask him.. (unless you read this post 10 years after the posting date, his price might go up). So, if you are an artist/ pelakon/singer jgnla spoil the market for cheapskates like us. Biasala, MUA ni kalau dah sentuh muka artist harga pun tinggi melangit.

Its time for kursus kawin!!!

First things first, you can never say no to this. Kursus Kawin.

Mr Fiance has booked a session this weekend at Siarra & Dinderk. A bit short noticed. But whats there to prepare? Just bawak badan je kan? I hope for an interesting session. Hope the speaker is hillarious.. takde la bosan sangat.

Hair, locks, tress, rambut!

Today, I'm gonna talk about bridal hairdos.. If you are wearing a tudung, Alhamdullillah but i did not say you can take it even lightly.. the right choice of tudung accentuates your beauty and complement the shape of your face..

I am planning to do updo my hair on my wedding day.. the choice of bun? perhaps a lose bun. Lose bun looks modern elegant. High bun looks more classy elegant.

i heart this! but it doesn't look easy to do..

Even though lose bun looks very effortlessly done, but the twist and curl is an art.. you don't want to look messy macam pengantin bangun tido tak mandi.. kan?

High bun like this looks neater. Especially with a small piece of headband tiara like this.

Ouh i heart headband tiaras. They look more elegant and simple. I am a simple person and i love it better when people say i look elegant than gorgeous.




Big crowns are definite no-no! To me big crowns are so yesterday..

One fine night.. dimalam Jumaat yang gersang, two adults are having a phone conversation..

Mr Fiance : Sayang.. what do you think? Do you want a big plasma TV first or honeymoon first?

Me : Heheheh.. i love that question dear.. Erm, i think I would want a big TV first..

Money is very limited so we need to choose one thing over another. As for us, the priority now is daily entertainment. Plus, we need our "lil" privacy since i'll be staying with my parents after getting married until we are financially stabil to get our own crib. TV in our room will be our lil hideout.. a big flat LED tv with a good sound system.. a KING size bed..

Food Testing and Caterers! - Part 1

Went to pameran pengantin with mom weeks back at SACC Mall. This is the second time I went. The first time was with Mr Fiance' but rasa macam tak relevant je bawak dia.. well, bila tanya.. yang ni cantik tak? answers sumer mcm default. Ok, I need brutal truth opinions.. So i brougt mom this time.. besides her energy level, mom was quite helpful with her ideas.. cuma dia tak larat nak tawaf sampai habis..

I did not set much expectations for other vendors but I have targeted myself to search for a caterer this time. Hence, there's food testing. The first lesson learnt since the first expo that i went was i did not bring any folders to keep all the brochures.. so kertas2, pamphlet berselerak.. and by the time i got home sume dah jadi belacan busuk. So, this time i brought a bag to keep all the brochures, pamphlet nicely for future reference.

But.. i made another mistake.. we had our tummy filled before the expo knowing that we are gonna use a lot of energy walking.. it wasn't the best idea because.. macamana nak appreciate food testing kalau perut kenyang?? after 4 caterers we were already burping and refuse to try anymore..

Talking about caterers, they offer a lot of different packages.. but actually pusing sana pusing sini, kira balik.. the price are about the same thing. There is also cheap ones.. even RM6++ per head. I know i'm a cheapskate, tapi kena kira overall costs jugak. And I do enjoy good food and very fussy about food. Mom always claims, her lidah is a good benchmarker. Kalau "mama rasa sedap means memang sedapla makanan tu". Mr fiance' basically have no taste (except for when it comes to searching a life partner! you've got good taste dah-ling! hahaha.. ok tak kelakar.) i mean.. apa yang dia makan sumernye sedap even though oatmeal letak air sejuk. Am not joking. He's done that so many times ok! So, his jurisdiction does not count. Back to caterer..

So, cheap does not mean tak sedap.. but that does not include canopy service. If you are looking for a complete one with canopy, waiters and decos.. price around RM15++ for 1000pax. But the problem is.. we are planning to keep the invitation up to 800pax max only. And the price for one pax will definitely go up to RM20++. The one I like offered RM25/pax for 600++ pax. The package involves canopy, waitress, underayers, red carpets, fresh flower arch, fresh flower pelamin, cake, meja beradab for 12pax, 4 VIP domes and a standard nasi minyak menu. he vendor is Manisa Catering. Ngam ngam our budget. Expensive? or reasonable.. ?

Nurul Izzah offers good package too. I've tried the food at neighbor's wedding before.. not bad. the rendang itam was good. And the canopy was sooo clean..And they throw a Bali Honeymoon package in their package.. good strategy.. i nearly enticed by it. but kinda love manisa catering better because we had this caterer before and everyone simply love the food! sedap!

Kalau boleh nak carik yg lagi murah with this facility all included.. or try to push manisa for discounts.. hmm.. whata cheapskate!

Khursus Kawin??

Now we've got the date decided, its easier to plan on other things, place bookings and deposit. What about kursus kawin??

I know there's a lot of places for khursus kawin.. tapi kenapa tak booking booking lagi???

This place looks hip! but the schedule is pretty limited. This i'll leave to Mr Fiance' to settle lah. Let the man do the legal stuffs and i'll concentrate on those remeh temeh stuffs yang memeningkan kepala.

How do you guys want your nikah makeup look ? I want for something clean.. and i'm still not a fan of light pastel eye shadows.. pink.. light blue.. nope.

i love how elyana was done during her nikah.. this makeup by kak saidatulnisa. Who doesn't like kak sai's touch? Cantikkan? Nampak biasa2 je eyeshadow dia.. very the mat salleh style.. tapi still nampak berseri.. or maybe sbb elyana ni dah ada seri artist kah?? but kak sai's rate is something around 900++ if i'm not wrong..

So.. who i hired for nikah?

Hazlie Hamzah!

I saw how clean he did for my friend. According to her, Hazlie sapu foundation lama.. that shows how detail he is to ensure the base and foundation tahan lama. Makeup tak crack even sampai habis majlis.. and her skin is oily macam my skin jugak.. so good benchmark la kan.. And hazlie's rate pun ok.. within my budget lagi.. And he does nice hair jugak.. I don't mind sangat because i will be covering my hair macam style rebecca nur islam during nikah, insyaallah..

Oh btw, hazlie does hand bouquets too.. he charges me only RM100 of fresh flower hand bouquet of my choice.. tu spesel rate because i hire him.. else the price will be RM150.

Makeup Artist - Part 3

I was a lil bit depressed last week. I did not bother to search for MUA. Blog hopping kejapla..For the sake of trying to engage the groove back.. nak google pun kena ada feel..

Tiba-tiba terclick kat Munie Ahmad and stayed there for quite a bit.. Actually I've known Munie from a friend's wedding. She did my friend effortlessly but the result was very impressive. At first, I was a bit skeptic with female MUA especially new faces like her.. But she proved me all wrong. Female MUA can do as good as bapuk..

I asked Munie if she's free in September. I thought of hiring her for my nikah. Unfortunately she's not. My motivation was pulled down once again. But Alhamdulillah she is available in November, so she can cover my majlis tandang.. Yang penting, her rate is very very affordable and that includes hairdo. Slightly cheaper than Emma Pesona. But Emma charges cheaper travelling expenses to Ipoh, Munie charges quite expensive expenses. I argued at first on fuel and toll to ipoh but she made a point about car's wear and tear.. so, takpela.. pusing pusing sama je total ngan Emma Pesona. And yes, Mr Fiance's kenduri is gonna be in Ipoh.

Ok, now i've got a MUA for my majlis tandang. one problem solved. Who is going to paint me on my big days??

Who wants to be my photographer - part 1

Celik celik mata, i told myself that today have to settle for a photographer. As promised in the previous blog, today i will also share what i look for in photographer and some tips in searching one.

As much as i wanted to hire Qippie or Kidchan level of profesionalism.. i have to remember the size of my wallet and stick to my budget constrain. Hiring a good photographer these days come with a price tag. So i asked myself.. what do i look in a photographer?

I am not a supermodel, who looks good at all angles even the lubang hidung pun lawa, and i know i'm not photogenic.. the worse thing is i'm suck at posing in front of a camera. especially infront of strangers. oh yes, during myspace time akulah ratu camwhore. Tapi bila bertunang hari tu kenapa aku keras??? so this thing can not happen on my wedding day. I need to find a photographer who has portrait skills + candid moment skill. I don't want a snapshooter who just simply press the shutter and trigger happy. Mata berkelip pun nak ambik and masuk album. I need a photographer who waits for the right moment and get the best angle to complement the brides. I need someone who does not forget to capture the tiny lil embellishments on my wedding lace and someone who manage to capture how beautiful my veil and tail fall in every movement i make.. Sounds like a photographer from heaven?? This is inspiring. I want a photographer who manage to capture like her. Ngada tak?? Well atleast its not wrong to dream kan?








The searching continues tomorrow.. macam fail je nak jumpa the right photographer today.. Sume mahal walaupun gambar macam hampeh. oh by the way, i'm too sleepy to list down the tips in searching a photographer.. ngantuk dah ni.. huarghhh! nanti esok sambung. oh by the way, besides a cheapskate, i'm also a procrastinator!

So, i quickly called Kak Emma and ask if she's free on the new date. Tiba2 dunia jadi gelap seketika.. (petir kilat sabung menyabung) macam kena panah petir rasanya..

She's not free as bulan November tu dah penuh. Nampak gaya memang takde jodoh with Emma Pesona.

But kak emma is too kind to return back my deposit in full sebab according to her its still early and can still get another client.. Alhamdulillah..

So now, i'm back to square one.. kena google carik MUA for 3 events!!

saya rasa nak makan eskrem mahal skarang. period.

Makeup Artist - Part 2

"Hari ni kena booking makeup artist untuk nikah".. terngiang2 sampai masuk dalam mimpi. We have the nikah date in mind, so I quickly ask kak emma if she's free to cover my nikah in september.

Oh no! she's expected to deliver her baby in september. Takkan nak suruh dia hold baby plakkan? so no choice kena carik MUA lain.. takpe kak emma yang pasti you cover my kenduri tandang already :)

We've got the date!

Alhamdulillah.. after so much dramas.. i decided to just follow my heart and proceed with the date i have in mind. Mr Fiance and I wanted to have our wedding earlier. (bukan dah gatal sangat nak kawin..) but we always think that the sooner we get married the sooner we can start building a family. Plus, boleh elakkan maksiat. But when we were engaged last November, Mr Fiance's family has stated firmly that the only time they can accomodate is during long school holidays, November or December 2011. Tak bestnya kena tunang lama-lama! So, kenduri tandang was decided to be held in December, our nikah was tentatively set to be a week earlier macam orang selalu buat. I'm not happy with it, Mr Fiance's not happy with it and my mom thinks a year of engagement is too long.

I couldn't sleep for days, neither Mr Fiance.. one discussion after another.. bila dating je default topic mesti cakap pasal kawin.. To satisfy everyone.. why not shift nikah date earlier? Who says you can not kacau tok kadi on hari raya? Well, i'm not that cruel.. not the first day of raya.. but we decided to nikah during Hari Malaysia and it falls on Friday.. insyaAllah berkat Jumaat, its 2 weeks of raya. So, there's a gap of 2 months between our nikah date and date of kenduri bertandang. Any problem with it?? I'm okay with it. Mr Fiance's okay with it..

So i blurbed it out to mom. As expected mom agrees with the idea to nikah awal. So does my dad. Alhamdulillah.. Now, how to explain this to Mr Fiance's parents? I'm crossing fingers.. Alhamdulillah his dad was okay with the idea! Great.. but..

But some people don't seem to agree with the idea. Ouh why is it too hard to please everyone? But i always believe in doing what we think is right. My instinct strongly says that this is the best so far. We decided to proceed with it anyway. Ya Allah permudahkan urusan kami. Amin..

Makeup Artist - Part 1

After looking and looking and looking sampai mata nak tercabut.. i decided to ask kak Emma from Emma Pesona. Yay! The rate falls within my budget.. she did a friend of mine and i totally love her touch.. i saw good reviews about her as well and she is really into the business. Very confident and professional. She charges additional RM50 for hair which is to me is still reasonable. Rambut pun penting jugak. My previous MUA who did me for my engagement makeups really well but slacking in hairdo. I ended up becoming a my own consultant. Tapi nevermindlah because she admitted earlier she's not good in hairdo.

Ok, back to kak Emma. Without further ado, i don't want to miss kak emma so i decided to settle with her for my tandang kenduri. Why not hire her for nikah and my reception as well? My tandang kenduri date is firmed not my nikah and reception. Ouh well, the date is still undecided.. there's a lot of dramas in my family that we couldn't even get a firmed date. sigh. Better grab something than nothing kan? Then i placed the deposit.

I hope i will get a firmed date for my nikah and reception very very soon. Can't afford to lose good MUA till last minute. Just incase Kak Emma is not available anymore, I still need to find alternatives. sigh. sigh.sigh.

Photographer or poyographer?

Photographer is another vendor you have to start looking early. This is the era where the clause "picture worths a thousand word" has been in a dictionary of every wedding couples these days. Photographers at this era can really make money. I have to admit that photographer grows like mushrooms. Ada yang pro betul.. tak kurang juga yang poyo lebih.

I know few good names and trust their work. But tak guna juga sibuk2 nak tanya price when you know you can never afford them. Hari tu tangan kegatalan meng-email Qippie. I heart his work. He definitely has his own class when he presses the shutter. He definitely has a very creative eyes and creative mind. And he's a brilliant business man too. As expected, I was not surprised looking at his rate. He's an efficient guy. He did not keep me too long for the quotation and he put it all in one email that is easily understandable. Hmm.. basically bersediala 5k utk satu basic event. If nak plugin plugin sume sila buat kalkulasi sendiri ye.

Saifulnang is another photographer yang have brilliant eyes. He manage to capture moments beautifully. But i think i don't plan to go someone yang too commercial.. his publicity is too meluas lah. plus there's a lot of on going gossips about him here which i don't plan to dig it here. Regardless his attitude claimed by other photogs yang tidak berapa enak didengar, i don't judge his work based on that.. undeniably his talented.

Ada juga poyographer yang tak nak reveal their price. Kena datang studio baru boleh discuss. Ok, tak salah kalau nak suruh datang studio. But to b2b yang cheapskate di luar sana atau di sini nak juga work on budget dulu. Kalau within our radar then only we go to the next stage and jumpa photographer for a further discussion. Survey juga yang package murah2.. tapi.. my body say yes to the price but my eyes say no to their work. macamana??? Kalau boleh tanakla menangis tengok muka sendiri yang di edit oleh Dave Hill wanabes.. muka pun jadi mcm plastik or terlebih kena botox injection. Ataupun posing posing maut yang cliche.. i hate cliches!

So, i stopped searching for a mo.. carik MUA dulu lah. Kalau makeup tak cantik, posing macamana pun tak lawa jugak kan? I will post "what criteria i am searching for in a photographer" and some tips in searching a photographer in my next post.

Who wants to be my Makeup Artist?

I don't do heavy makeups.. I usually highlight on my eyes with eyeliner. Thanks to dad's genetic. He has Chinese blood.. and that explains the sepetness. I would like to find an MUA who knows how to do light makeup but great impact. .. i love nude lipstick with dramatic focus on the eyes.. dramatic focus by all means NO COLORFUL SHADOWS and NO HEAVY SMOKEY like burung hantu or kungfu panda kena tumbuk. I love light smokey eyes.. Who doesn't love Kak Nurol Shukor? But i don't plan to splurge 1k++ on one session of makeup. Sue Cantik.. lovely! But her rate can easily reach RM900 or more for 1 session if i'm not mistaken. I love how Ayang Kamell do the eyes.. then why don't i book him?

Sudah cuba.. but unfortunately he's not available on my dates. (i terus off pc and tido sbb stress ok) Then goes the googling session to search for the one that suits my style and.. fall within my budget. Someone recommended Emma Pesona, Munie Ahmad and Hazlie Hamzah. I'm gonna bug these people tomorrow..

...Frankly, I'll be glad if I can find anything less than RM500! Cheapskate? I am.

Presenting... the cheapskate bridezilla!

I spent nearly like days to comeup with the title of my blog.. And I spent like months contemplating if i should have my own blog to compile my so-called rocky journey to becoming a wife. Erm.. did i just say the word wife? Err.. looks like i have to get used to it..

I have been blog-hopping other bridezilla's blogs for the past few months. And this girls have done a tremendously good job in googling, compiling and writing a nice blog as areference to other bridezillas out there. And yeah, i was one of the silent stalker.. A year ago, i condemn these people big time.. not condemn kaw kaw la.. but for them having such amount of time wasting to jot down their journey to becoming a bride. (yelaaa at that time i did not even have a macha/mat tahir and did not even plan for a wedding in near future) maybe i was depress and such a sad sad miserable adult lady. Ok, nuff said. I don't want to go further about the past. Lets focus about this blog. Forgive me for having that thoughts.. i swallow back my words.. those blogs have given me so much motivations and inspirations to me. If I'm rich, i would have just hire the most expensive wedding planner, the best MUA, the best designer, the best everything in the world.. don't have to go through massive googling sampai mata nak tercabut looking for someone who can paint me on my big day that falls within my cheapskate budget. (oh-kay i might be using the word a lot of time in this blog. get use to it!). But come to think of it.. that is the beauty of a bridezilla.. they google themselves.. they compare and they budget their wedding.. i don't mind being a cheapskate bride as long as i have a perfect wedding.. perfect to me is not a top notch bride (if they even have a bride chart!) or a wedding of the year.. i'm not looking forward to throw my hard earned money for just a wedding ceremony.. hence, presenting the blog.. a journey of not-so-rich lady towards her so-called perfect wedding..
